1.     Carry out the objectives of the school and policies of the governing board with the preview of existing laws, rules and regulations

2.     Formulate policies that promotes continual growth and improvement in relation to the operations of the administration

3.     Ensures the financial capability of the administration in carrying out programs and operation

4.     Ascertains the effective and efficient operation of the administration

 

Academic Unit Head

 

In relation to the unit

1.     Prepares and implements well-planned unit programs

 

2.     Attends to the daily operational requirements of the unit

 

3.     Attends the preparation and economical utilization of the annual unit budget

 

4.     Ensures the continual development and improvement of the unit as prescribed by accrediting institutions and government bodies

 

5.     Ensures the implementation and continuous updating of the Standard Operating Procedures of the unit

 

6.     Handles confidential concerns of the unit and/or a client effectively

 

7.     Executes fair and just decision making

 

 In relation to subordinates

8.     Plans and coordinates effective training programs, seminars and other activities for the members of the unit 

 

9.     Oversees the performance of individual personnel within the unit

 

10.   Conducts constructive and recorded unit and/or departmental meetings regularly

 

11.   Shows impartiality in the hiring, retention and dismissal of subordinates

 

12.   Enforces fair discipline for non-adherence of school policies

 

13.   Ensures the proper orientation and up-dating of all members of the unit regarding school policies and programs

 

In relation to the ESS Management

14.   Attends to the preparation and completion of a well-documented and organized  accomplishment report 

 

15.   Performs duties assigned by top management

 

16.   Participates in the decision making requirements of the school during meetings and assemblies

 

 In relation to Academic Concerns

17.   Promotes the continual improvement and development of the school academic programs and activities

 

18.   Ensures the promotion of the expected standard of education of the school

 

19.   Supervises and monitors academic programs ensuring their effective delivery and implementation

 

Non-Academic Unit Head

 

In relation to the unit

1.     Prepares and implements well-planned unit programs

 

2.     Attends to the daily operational requirements of the unit

 

3.     Attends the preparation and economical utilization of the annual unit budget

 

4.     Ensures the continual development and improvement of the unit as prescribed by accrediting institutions and government bodies
