Activities Coordinator

 

In relation to the Unit

1.     Supports the implementation of the unit programs

 

2.     Ensures economic utilization of unit budget related to student activities

 

3.     Handles the effective collection and accounting of activity budgets, if any

 

4.     Ensures the continual development and improvement of the unit as prescribed by the standards of the school, accrediting institutions 

        and government bodies

 

5.     Maintains a complete, updated and well-organized documentation of all activities undertaken by the unit

 

6.     Keeps abreast with modern trends and practices in education, specifically on student activities

 

7.     Coordinates and manages unit activities and addresses inquiries regarding the same

 

8.     Evaluates student activities and prepares a corresponding report for reference of the unit head

 

9.     Represents the unit in external and internal organizational meetings and activities in the absence or recommendation of the unit head

 

10.   Implements and reviews Standard Operating procedure regarding school activities

 

In relation to Faculty

11.   Organizes the annual orientation and up-dating of all members of the unit regarding school expectations, policies, programs and those 

         related to student activities

 

12.   Supervises and attends to the requirements of the ZL2 and the club programs of the unit

 

13.   Communicates with faculty regarding student activities

  

In relation to Students

14.   Assists students in planning and coordinating various student initiated activities and functions

 

15.   Organizes, orients and updates students regarding school policies, regulations and programs related to student activities

 

16.   Organizes and supervises annual unit activities such as but not limited to:

 

a.     Recognition

b.     Graduation

c.     Christmas Parties / Dances

d.     Student Assemblies

e.     Academic Week / Days (in coordination with concerned SACs)

f.      Intramurals (in coordination with the P.E. SAC)

 

17.   Organizes and/or coordinates social, spiritual and cultural events that promote the values of the school

 

18.   Screens invitations for external competitions, productions and the like and endorses suitable activities to the Unit Head for approval

 

19.   Process requirements of competing students and documents record of student’s achievements

 

20.   Plans, coordinates and schedules student field trips and other outbound activities

 

In relation to the ESS Management

21.   Ensures the proper coordination of unit  activities and programs with concerned heads  and departments

 

22.   Assists in the preparation and completion of a well-documented and organized accomplishment and evaluation reports for the unit

 

23.   Coordinates with other units regarding school activities

 

24.   Effectively performs duties assigned by management and immediate superior

 

 

Discipline Coordinator

 

In relation to the Unit

1.     Evaluates the discipline program and prepares a corresponding report for the reference of the unit head.

 

2.     Ensures the continual development and improvement of the unit as prescribed by the standards of the school, accrediting institutions

        and government bodies

 

3.     Ensures the strict implementation of the Standard Operating Procedures on discipline

 

4.     Effectively handles confidential concerns of the unit

 

5.     Executes fair and just decision making in relation to students and/or parents as well as the unit concerned

 

6.     Maintains a complete, updated and well-organized documentation of all student discipline concerns of the unit

 

7.     Keeps abreast with modern trends and practices in education specifically on classroom management and classroom discipline

 

8.     Coordinates with parents and addresses their concerns/inquiries regarding student discipline

 

9.     Heads the discipline committee of the unit and appoints members as prescribed in the Student Discipline Manual

 

10.   Supervises the updating and revision of the Student Discipline Manual

 

In relation to Faculty

 

11.   Coordinates with the faculty concerns regarding discipline policies and school rule and regulations

 

12.   Orients and updates all members of the unit regarding school expectations, policies, programs and requirements pertinent to student 

         discipline

 

 In relation to Students

13.   Enforces school policies on discipline as indicated in  the student’s handbook

 

14.   Orients and update students regarding school policies, regulations and programs related to student discipline

 

15.   Oversees discipline and order in unit activities such as but not limited to:

a.     Recognition / Graduation

b.     Student Assembly

c.     Christmas Parties / Dances

d.     Student Assemblies

e.     Academic Week / Days (in coordination with concerned SACs)

f.      Intramurals (in coordination with the P.E. SAC)

 

16.   Handles students’ disciplinary and behavioral cases

 

17.   Communicates and coordinates with parents or guardians regarding student concerns

 

In relation to the ESS Management

18.   Assists in the preparation and completion of a well-documented and organized accomplishment and evaluation reports for the unit

 

19.   Coordinates with other units regarding student discipline

 

20.   Effectively performs duties assigned by management and immediate superior

 

Subject Area Coordinator

 

In relation to the Unit

1.     Prepares and implements well-planned departmental programs

 

2.     Ensures the continuous review and revision of the course outline, plantilla, grid and program of activities

 

3.     Attends to the daily operational requirements of the department

 

4.     Attends the preparation and economical utilization of the department budget

 

5.     Ensures the continual development and improvement of the department as prescribed by the standards of the school, accrediting

         institutions, and government bodies

 

6.     Ensures the strict implementation of the Standard Operating Procedures of the department

 

7.     Effectively handles confidential concerns of the department and/or a client (parent/student/guest)

 

8.     Executes fair and just decision making in relation to departmental concerns

 

9.     Keeps a complete and well-recorded documentation of all activities undertaken by the department 

 

 In relation to Subordinates

10.   Plans and coordinates effective training programs, seminars and other activities for the members of the department

 

11.   Oversees the performance of individual personnel within the department and ensures their conformity to standards

 

12.   Conducts constructive and recorded departmental meetings regularly

 

13.   Promotes and enforces fair discipline for non-adherence to school policies

 

14.   Reviews and approves department materials for circulation and use

 

15.   Ensures the proper orientation and up-dating of all members of the department regarding school policies and programs

 

16.   Promotes unity and soundness of the department and the unit

 

       In relation to the ESS Management

17.   Ensures the proper coordination of departmental activities and programs with concerned heads 

 

18.   Attends to the preparation and completion of a well-documented and organized  accomplishment and evaluation reports

 

19.   Effectively performs duties assigned by top management and immediate superior

 

 

Coordinator / Officer-In-Charge

 

In relation to the unit

1.     Recommends well-planned unit programs to the Academic Director

 

2.     Supervises the daily operational requirements of the unit

 

3.     Attends the preparation and economical utilization of the annual unit budget

 

4.     Ensures the continual development and improvement of the unit as prescribed by accrediting institutions and government bodies

 

5.     Ensures the implementation and continuous updating of the Standard Operating Procedures of the unit

 

6.     Handles confidential concerns of the unit and/or a client effectively

 

7.     Executes fair and just decision making

 

In relation to subordinates

8.     Promotes and coordinates effective training programs, seminars and other activities for the members of the unit 

 

9.     Oversees and supervises the performance of individual personnel within the unit

 

10.   Conducts constructive and recorded unit and/or departmental meetings regularly

 

11.   Shows impartiality in the hiring, retention and dismissal of subordinates

 

12.   Enforces fair discipline for non-adherence of school policies

 

13.   Ensures the proper orientation and up-dating of all members of the unit regarding school policies and programs

 

        In relation to the ESS Management

14.   Attends to the preparation and completion of a well-documented and organized  accomplishment report 

 

15.   Performs duties assigned by the Academic Director and top management
