In relation to Teaching
1.
Implements the school’s academic and instructional programs
2.
Keeps abreast with modern trends and practices in education
3.
Integrates Christian values and the school CREED in the subject matter
4.
Identifies and enhances the different aptitudes and interests of each individual
student preparing him/her for higher education
5. Exhibits ways to improve effectiveness as a teacher by adopting variations in teaching techniques according to subject matter and level
of students
6. Prepares varied and well-studied evaluation materials such as tests, projects, homeworks and the like to assess students
comprehension, development and progress
7. Provides learning experiences which develop awareness and a sense of responsiveness among students to changes in society
preparing them for constructive and effective involvement
8.
Accompanies the students in internal and external co-curricular activities
9.
Maintains an orderly class and supervises student’s behavior and decorum
10. Consistently implements class routine procedures such as: morning prayers, checking of attendance, classroom cleanliness, seating
arrangements and the like
11.
Cooperates with the unit supervisors in the implementation of school activities,
programs and discipline requirements
12.
Provides an active role in social and emotional development of students and
extends counseling sessions when necessary
13. Keeps a well-documented and organized record of grades and makes fair and impartial evaluation of students according to standards
established by the unit
14.
Grades and provides feedback to students on submitted assignments, reports,
tests and projects within a reasonable timeframe
15.
Participates in unit and departmental meetings, activities and projects

Diligently attends to the preparation of lessons plans, visual aids and other
requirements

Class Adviser
In relation to Homeroom
1.
Facilitates and implements the school’s homeroom program
2.
Coordinates homeroom activities and concerns with assigned guidance counselors
3. Attends to the weekly routine tasks such as but not limited to class orientations, distribution of forms and information sheets,
dissemination of information, collection of return slips and the like
4.
Ensures the upkeep of room assignment, its class decorations and cleanliness
5.
Coordinates and facilitates conferences with students, parents and teachers
regarding pertinent concerns
In relation to the Class/Student Supervision
6.
Counsels students when necessary
7.
Monitors and supervises individual student behavior and achievement
8.
Attends to the supervision of the class during activities, practices and the
like
9.
Represents students with disciplinary concerns during Discipline Committee
hearings
10.
Cooperates with the unit supervisors in the implementation of school activities,
programs and discipline requirements
11.
Assesses individual student values fairly and prepares corresponding values
grade at the end of each quarter
12.
Attends to the preparation of the Automated Report Cards (ARC)
13.
Prepares and submits well-organized class summary sheets and other pertinent
records for the class
14.
Supervises collection of funds and payments from students and ensures its proper
turn-over to the Finance Administration
15.
Gives recommendations for transferring and/or graduating students
